Where are you reading from today?
Various books, right now a library book about homeschooling with sanity and a pirate novel. I have many other wants to reads as well as needed for review to reads in the stack as well.
3 facts about me …
- I'm 23 weeks pregnant today!
- My favorite apples are Pink Ladies (which I found some yesterday!!!).
- I love historical fiction.
How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours?
Well, the pile to choose from has about 15 books, but I hardly expect to read them all.
Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)?
I'm tired, so my real goal is to read completely two novels (about 600 pages total). It is lacking, but something and I will be content with it. This is the first read-a-thon that I have "really" been able to participate in, so I hope to be very interactive and meet new people!
If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, Any advice for people doing this for the first time?
I tried last year, but was too busy with other stuff. So technically, I would call this my first time.

As a veteran book-a-thon-er, I'd urge you to take a short nap or two if you feel like it!
Good luck in your reading. I love historical fiction. My all-time favorite is probably The World is Not Enough.
Nap. Now there is a word this pregnant lady knows well. :) Thanks!
I love how interactive the read-a-thon always is. :D Although it's so huge this time I'm feeling a mite overwhelmed! Congrats on your pregnancy. :)
Me too! Thanks Eva!
Good luck and happy reading today!

23 weeks...beautiful! Not much longer...enjoy your day of reading and napping :)
Congratulations, mom! have fun reading today and good luck with the rest of the read-a-thon!
600 pages is nothing to scoff at, that would be a great accomplishment :)
Good luck today!
Kim
Just popping in again to wish you continued luck! :)
I love pirates. Have you checked out pirate parenting yet?

Happy reading :)
Sounds like things are going nicely for you. Best of luck with the reading!
Yeah, there are a lot of blogs involved this time, like Eva said, it is a lot of places to visit to comment!
Happy reading and congrats on the pregnancy!
Fun fun! What kind of historical fiction do you favor?
Historical fiction is good. I spent most of my reading time today on one, Hunger's Brides. Had to set it aside this evening tho in favor of something lighter to carry me through the wee hours.
Congrats on your Mom-to-be status too!
Read in joy.
