As you may have realized by now, I am incapable of keeping it to two sentences! This comes from A Passion Denied by Julie Lessman, page 214. The third in the Daughters of Boston series.
Through the same novel mentioned above, I am in Southie Boston, Massachusetts, now in the summer of 1922. Like a character in the book, I enjoy the beauty the summer brings, but not the heat of the day and struggle to get my almost 7 month pregnant body in a comfortable position to endure the next scene in the story. Enjoying my fresh new curled bob hair cut and cute spring dresses I await for my husband to come home so that I can remind him one more time of why I love him.
