Blogoversary Giveaway #7, It's Not About Him, A Second Glances Novel #2 by Michelle Sutton, thanks to Sheaf House. A Winner will be announced October 18th.
Susie passed out while drinking at Jeff’s party and later discovered she’s pregnant. She has no idea who the father is and considers having an abortion, but instead decides to place her baby for adoption. Following through ends up being more wrenching than she imagined, but she’s determined to do the right thing for her baby.
Jeff feels guilty that Susie was taken advantage of at his party and offers to marry her so she won’t have to give up her baby, like his birth mother did with him. But Susie refuses, insisting he should he marry someone he loves. Can he convince her that his love is genuine before it’s too late? Can she make him understand that it’s not about him—it’s about what’s best for her child?

What pulls me to read the book is that the subject matter is so common today and I would love to see how the young couple in this novel deal with it. wandanamgreb(at)gmail(dot)com

Seems like an interesting book with a different topic. I think both myself and my teenage daughter would like it. Thanks.

An unplanned pregnancy changes lives forever. The child, the most important part of the dilemma, is often shown the least consideration. Sex and love can be two very different things, and they can both be devastating. I a Google subscriber and follower. gcwhiskas at aol dot com

The first one in this series (It's Not About Me) really pulled me in. I was pleasantly surprised because I don't generally like modern-day fiction, just one every now and then. So I've been looking forward to this one!

I'm drawn to this book as my Mom got pregnant while young and didn't marry my Father. I met him when I was 26. So I'm drawn to those types of books.

What pulls me to read this book is the whole idea of the importance of remaining sober at parties and about being responsible enough to prevent an unplanned pregancy. It's a message that not only teens need to be reminded but adults as well. Thanks for the contest!

The picture. The girl on it looks like a girl I know in real life who went through a similar situation.

It sounds like an interesting book!

Based on the review this sounds like a pretty touching story. To think that a guy offers to marry a girl, not because she is pregnant with his baby, but so that she won't have to suffer and make the huge sacrifice of giving up her baby. That the male character acts with the maturity enough to put himself in the place of the unborn child and remember how he probably felt growing up without his birth mother. Sounds like a very touching and emotional story that would really pull at your heart strings.

This is such a sad situation that is so common nowadays. I think it would be very interesting to see what ends up happening in this particular story.

I am adopted, so I find stories that deal with the possible issue of adoption to be quite fascinating.

What pulls me to the book is the curiosity factor. What happened, what's going to happen, and so on.

I've had this book on my TBR list for awhile. What draws me to read it is the storyline. I know of many teenage moms and their situations. I'm curious to know how this one turns out!
