Teaser Tuesday (Sept. 8)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teaser:
Charles had heard that before, but he'd come this far and wasn't about to change his mind now. "Why not? We follow the underground mail routes already established. But out."

Look to the East (The Great War, #1)~ p. 199, Look to the East by Maureen Lang (ARC)

This sounds like an interesting book, and I love the quote in your header. It's one of my favorites!

The C.S. Lewis quote really describes my loves and hopefully my blog. :)
