Product Review & Giveaway/Discount: Organic SleepyWrap #babywearing

This giveaway is now closed, but please enjoy the review.

bwseries

My first experience with a wrap was not a positive one, but so many people rave about them I was thinking that perhaps I had just picked the wrong one. After doing a little research and reading I discovered the SleepyWrap. *Thanks to Ashley of NAP, Inc for providing an Organic SleepyWrap for review!* As soon as I received the wrap and pulled it out of the matching drawstring bag I knew I was in love.
Past experiences with a wrap that belonged to SisterL of a best selling wrap had caused me to doubt my desire to babywear via a wrap, but SleepyWrap has completely renovated that idea for me. I can honestly say that I am terribly sad that I did not know about SleepyWrap when AppleBlossom was a newborn, but now I know and will be prepared next time around. Honestly, a SleepyWrap is a must have for new mamas!! It really is the best place after the womb.

While part of me is disappointed that I did not know to invest in a SleepyWrap at the beginning. It would definitely be worth every penny of buying one when I finally did get my skeptical hands on one at four and a half months old. Even now at AppleBlossom's seven months, I would still suggest someone go out and get one! Especially as the teething epidemic has begun... nothing soothes quite like our SleepyWrap.

Maybe it is because I am a blogger, but I am really particular about the companies that we use products from with our AppleBlossom. Customer service is a must, but information is extremely important and it is surprising how many companies out there provide products with little to no pertinent information. SleepyWrap.com is a breath of fresh air. They have FAQs and Testimonials, as well as photos and detailed instructions on use and tying methods. They even link you to various videos that are thorough and understandable. Articles on the benefits of babywearing and "Exterior Gestation" provide an in depth and educational value on their website and company that you just do not find much elsewhere. They also have a great Comparison Chart for various Baby Carriers that is very informative as well.

True that at first any wrap, especially a stretchy wrap (mine is Organic cotton terry) can be a bit intimidating. But after a few wraps you'll be a pro and the comfort it completely worth it! I have tried several other wraps that I appreciate, but none of them quite add up to the SleepyWrap. If anyone were to ask me for a wrap suggestion, this would be my first choice every time.

Just a few more points in the plus column: Not only is the wrap delivered very quickly, but it is affordable! And available in organic in two colors! As well as plethora of other solid colors in their original classic fabric. You could literally have a wrap to go with every outfit in any color, or go with a neutral color (like those in the new organic line) to work with anything.

I would like the natural colored organic sleepywrap, because I don't have a wrap carrier. I have a sling that I use, but I don't find it very comfortable on my shoulder...

I would choose the khaki wrap. I already enjoy my sleepywrap and would love another for my husband to use, or when my current one needs to be washed.

I love the Khaki! I want one because I traded my everyday wrap for an elegant dressy one, but I don't want to wear it around the house and I KNOW that I will need a great washable one for whenever we have another baby!

I am always looking for alternative ways to "wear" my 6-month old daughter. I like the Khaki Organic Sleepy Wrap.

I love so many colors of Sleepy Wrap! I love the Khaki in the Organic, and in the classic, I love the brown, the orange, and the dark green! I want a sleepy wrap so badly, I could cry! My sister in law let me borrow hers, and I fell completely in love! I used slings before, but my 4month old already had grown out of sleeping in them, and didn't much care for being toted in them either, so I had not been carrying her as much, and missed wearing her. But she loves the Sleepy Wrap, and will sleep in it, and I can do way more then even in a sling, and my back and shoulders never get tired. it is the best thing out there for baby wearing!

I like the khaki color of the organic sleepy wrap.

I can't wait to get one of these to wear with my first (due in Aug.). Everything about babywearing appeals to me & the fact that this is not only beneficial to the baby, but also to the parent... bonus!

I would love to have a khaki one. I'm expecting my 4th in September and I really need to be able to carry him/her around conveniently and comfortably. These sound perfect!

I would pick the kahki color. I would love to try a sleepy wrap, because I have heard that they are AMAZING!! I am a pretty small person (5'3, 110lbs) with a pretty good sized baby boy who is almost 21 lbs at 8 months. I have a sling that is really ahrd to get to fit right and is really uncomfortable and a front pack that my baby loves, but is really uncomfortable for me. I'd love to find something that is safe and works for both me and my baby!! :-)

khaki

I have a 4 1/2 year old with Special Needs. She only weighs 29 pounds so I still use a carrier for her. But my back is starting to give and I have been wondering if a wrap would give my better support and more positioning options.

I would love to try the natural organic because it would go with so many outfits and be more neutral if DH wanted to try (other wraps are more fem colors). However, they have two pretty blues in the pic on your page on on their site that don't appear available. Bring back a lighter blue!
