Blogoversary Giveaway #14

Another Christmas title and a brand new release for giveaway #13 is A Forever Christmas by friend and author Missy Tippens. A Winner will be announced October 18th.

A Forever Christmas (Love Inspired)

A Forever Christmas will be available to book club subscribers (who receive all 6 books each month) soon. And it'll be on the shelves November 1!

Read the back cover now:

Sarah Radcliffe’s quiet Christmas back in her hometown will be lost if she agrees to direct the church’s Christmas pageant. But when she meets two little boys determined to gain their father’s attention, Sarah agrees to help. Then she discovers that the dad in question is Gregory Jones, the man she loved and lost.

The single dad is working himself to the bone to give his boys the Christmas of their dreams, when all they want is some family time. Time that includes a new mommy. If Sarah can learn to open her heart, she may receive the most wonderful present of all—a family of her own.

ooo! I can't wait for this one to come out. She's a great author. As for book clubs, it depends. It's better in person cause you can see people's facial expressions and interact with them more. But, online is so convenient. Plus, it also depends on the book. If it's a deep one, I would rather discuss it in person than over the internet. Ultimatley it all depends on personal preference.

My favorite book website..totally forgot to mention that. I love Goodreads. You find so many good books and opinions from other people and occasionally the author will chat with you. CBD.com is a good one too. People rate and give their opinions of the books and you can read a synopsis of the book as well.

I used to join book clubs, but I couldn't keep up with the 4 books a month cost. I now use the library a lot more.

Book clubs are great. I can't keep up with blog tours though let alone a book club. I think I'd rather do it in person I like the contact; however, on-line you can visit when you have the time.

I visit many fav. book sites. so can't list just one.

I love the Love Inspired books. I love reading Christmas setting books and romance. This one looks oh, so good. Thanks for the giveaway.

Online book clubs are a great way to get a broader view from all around the globe. "In Person" book clubs are much more intimate, and chances are you will meet some new friends and share some good eats!

I prefer online book clubs. It's more convenient. Empress Orchid by Anchee Min is one of my favourite books. They don't have an official website.

What a perfect items for Christmas time! Love this giveaway!

I think book clubs in general are a great idea. Almost anything that encourages people to read is cool! I like book clubs because they foster discussions of the book and provide you with other people's views, ideas, perspectives on the book, its theme, characters etc. I think in person book clubs are preferable but on-line ones can be more convenient and have the added benefit of bringint together readers who may live great distances from each other. And finally book clubs are great for bringing people together and I think these days, in this society, that is a very valuable thing.

Please include me in your lovely giveaway!

This book sounds wonderful! I can't wait to read it.

Unfortunately, I have never had the pleasure of being part of an actual book club where folks meet in person. I enjoy discussing books online as it is so convenient.

I'm not acctually a memeber of any book clubs, but I'd like to try one some day. I think online would be good, although in person would be the best if you were lending books.

Favorite book website - hmmm ... well that depends if I'm buying books or just looking for information. If I'm buying books, then Koorong. I love Shelfari, because that's where I keep track (sort of) of all the books I own or read.

Missy's book sounds wonderful. I don't belong to a book club, because I don't have the time. I've often thought it would be fun.

I visit a lot of book sites to see what books are out. I do like Amazon's hot new releases list.

Mystica said...

I dont belong to any book clubs in my country - as far as I know there is only one. I visit lots of book blogging sites and because my interests are varied I do visit many many sites. No particular favorite but most of them are very interesting.
